Our Story
Welcome to the new LOVE ME TWO TIMES blog!
I have been playing with the idea of writing a blog for a long time.
Three decades in the world of fashion, a decade of which in my wonderful vintage store has left me with countless ideas that I would like to pass on to you and now I finally can, a little at a time, through this platform.
Let’s start from the beginning.
Fashion has always flowed through my veins. In high school, instead of studying I would scribble dresses in notebooks.
I had no doubt what I would do “when I grow up”, fashion designer was always been the answer. And the road is paved.
For many years I worked for big fashion companies and there I gained most of my knowledge regarding cuts, materials, fabrics, sewing quality and much more.
At some point I found it difficult to bear the upheaval that the fashion field has undergone in recent years; the collections changing at breakneck speed, the quality decreasing due to competition and the desire to lower the price, and above all I felt that this was no longer the profession I loved so much. And that “fast” fashion is no longer for me.
I was exposed to the world of vintage and second hand during my trips to European markets. From an amateur eyewear collector I turned the hobby into a profession and that’s how I opened my first store in Jaffa about 10 years ago.
In the ancient alleys of Jaffa, a unique place has emerged, with top designer items of all eras and rare vintage items that are a hundred years old or more. And suddenly the dream became a reality. Although the field of second-hand clothing began to gain momentum in the world, it was still difficult to connect women to the idea. The concept was relatively new, and the thought of wearing items that had already been worn, was not embraced.
Over time, more and more women began to “dare”. Once they were exposed to the world of super brands, which were not within reach until now, there was no turning back. All of a sudden you can wear a mule and Dior and Gozzi, and have a Chanel or Hermès bag in the closet, without breaking the bank. Once they discovered the soft silk fabrics, it was impossible to go back to the synthetics of the malls.
Since then, once every two months I come to Italy, France, England, in fact everywhere in the world I go, the first thing I do is find treasures for my store. Collectibles from the nineties that can no longer be found such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Gianni Versace; couture items from the 1970s by all the top designers from all over the world and sometimes even rare items from the 1950s and 1940s. All can be found in my store.

,נתחיל מההתחלה
.אופנה זרמה בעורקי מאז ומתמיד. בתיכון, במקום ללמוד הייתי משרבטת שמלות במחברות
.לא היה לי ספק מה אעשה “כשאהיה גדולה”, מעצבת אופנה תמיד היתה התשובה. והדרך–סלולה
שנים רבות עבדתי בחברות אופנה גדולות ושם צברתי את מירב הידע שלי לגבי גזרות, חומרים , בדים , איכויות תפירה ועוד ועוד
בשלב כלשהו התקשיתי לשאת את המהפך שעבר תחום האופנה בשנים האחרונות. הקולקציות המתחלפות במהירות מסחררת , האיכות היורדת בשל התחרות והרצון להוזיל את המחיר, ובעיקר הרגיש לי שזה כבר לא המקצוע שאהבתי כל כך. ושהאופנה ה”מהירה ” כבר לא בשבילי
אל עולם הווינטג’ והיד שניה נחשפתי בטיוליי בשווקי אירופה . ומאספנית משקפיים חובבת הפכתי את התחביב למקצוע וכך פתחתי את החנות הראשונה שלי ביפו לפני כ 10 שנים
בתוך הסמטאות העתיקות של יפו , התהווה לו מקום מיוחד במינו ובו פריטי מעצבי על מכל הזמנים ופריטי וינטאג נדירים בני מאה שנים ואף יותר
.ולפתע החלום הפך למציאות
על אף שתחום בגדי יד שניה החל לתפוס תאוצה בעולם, עדיין קשה היה לחבר נשים לרעיון. הקונספט היה חדש יחסית , והמחשבה ללבוש פריטים שכבר נלבשו , עדיין לא חלחלה
עם הזמן יותר ויותר נשים החלו “להעז”. ברגע שנחשפו לעולם מותגי העל, שלא היה עד כה בהישג יד , כבר לא היה ניתן לחזור אחורה
.פתאום אפשר ללבוש פרדה ודיור וגוצי , ושיהיה תיק של שנאל או הרמס בארון, מבלי לפשוט את הרגל
.ברגע שגילו את בדי המשי הרכים אי אפשר היה לחזור לסינטטי של הקניונים
מאז , אחת לחודשיים מגיעה לאיטליה , צרפת , אנגליה , למעשה כל מקום בעולם אליו אני מגיעה דבר ראשון תרה אחר אוצרות לחנות שלי

. משנות השישים שבעים שמונים של כל מעצבי העל מכל העולם ולעיתים אף נדירים פריטים משנות ה50 וה .40
